The single-yard trader
One location, a small team, and an owner who still knows every lorry. The gain here is getting weights, challans and stock out of registers and spreadsheets without adding process. Starter covers this at a fixed monthly price.
The wholesaler
One or two yards but high order volume, bulk billing and wholesale rates that differ by customer. The pressure is throughput: raising many challans a day without the ordered weight and the loaded weight drifting apart.
The distributor
Several yards, stock transfers between them, and dealers who each have their own pricing. The pressure is visibility — knowing what is actually in each yard right now, and keeping each yard's numbers separate in reporting.
What actually changes between them

Common questions
Do I need the distributor version if I have two yards?
Two yards is the line. Once stock sits in more than one place you need per-warehouse stock, transfers between yards and reports scoped to a yard, which is what the distributor setup adds. A single yard with a big team is still a wholesaler shape.
Can one login see every yard?
Yes, if you give it that scope. Access is role-based and scoped by warehouse, so an owner can see everything while a yard supervisor sees only the yard they run.
We both wholesale and retail. Which fits?
The same installation covers both. The distinction on this page is about how your stock and dispatch work, not about registering as one type of business. Pricing follows users and stockyards either way.
Does the software change between these?
No. Every plan runs the same build. What differs is how many users and stockyards you are set up for, and which optional features are switched on.
