Pieces and Weight

Set chequered/tread plate up as its own sizes with their own weight per piece, so the pattern’s extra weight is in the ordered weight.
Actual Loaded Weight
The supervisor enters the empty truck weight, then the truck weight after each item or lot is loaded. Each difference is recorded as the actual weight of what went on in that step, and the challan bills it.

Ordered weight vs loaded weight
When you book an order, each line holds the ordered weight, worked out from the pieces and the weight per piece. At loading, the supervisor enters the truck’s empty weight, then its weight after each lot of sheets goes on; the difference is recorded as the actual weight of that lot. The challan and bill use the actual weight, and the order keeps both figures.
A line can be marked to load by piece count, which suits sheets counted off a stack. An optional Security “truck-in” step records a supplier’s lorry at the gate before it is unloaded, and goods received against each purchase advice go into the yard that received them.
